Bob Banham

John Robert "Bob" Banham (22 September 1912 – 20 December 1999)〔(BANHAM JOHN ROBERT : Service Number - N227584 : Date of birth - 22 Sep 1912 : Place of birth - GLENBROOK NSW : Place of enlistment - KINGSFORD : Next of Kin - BANHAM WILLIAM )〕 is a rugby league player who represented the New Zealand Kiwis and New South Wales City.
==Playing career==
Banham played for the South Sydney Rabbitohs in the NSWRL Premiership, scoring five tries between 1936 and 1937. He represented New South Wales City in 1937.〔 In 1938 the Mount Albert Lions signed Banham as player-coach, with assistance from the Auckland Rugby League and New Zealand Rugby League.〔Coffey, John and Bernie Wood ''Auckland, 100 years of rugby league, 1909-2009'', 2009.
